Sliding Scale Psychotherapy in California

Hi, I'm Mia Zucker (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma therapist specializing in complex-trauma treatment for teens and adults.

With a background in domestic violence, sexual violence, and psychiatric crisis services, I bring training and experience to our work together, but you are the expert on your life and the owner of your story. My practice is built on an ethos of community care in which individuals are treated with respect and compassionate curiosity. I am an advocate before I’m a therapist, am antiracist, justice-oriented, and prioritize establishing an environment of safety and trust.

My approach to therapy intends to support you in expanding on insights into yourself and the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that inspired you to consider therapy today. With a deeper understanding of how things came to be what they came to be, we can then orient our time together toward moving your life forward in directions that most align with who you are and what you value.

Your time, your money, and your emotional investment are valuable, and I am intentional in not wasting any of them.
